Why choose us ?
5 Top Reasons: Why to choose ProMigCon !
1. IDE HIÁNYZIK A FORDÍTÁS CÍMsor !!
ProMigCon Kft. since its foundation in 2009 is continuously developing its consultancy activities in order to give an appropriate answer for the varying, and ever-higher requirements of the modern companies.
Thanks to this guideline, in 2012 beside the ERP systems, we extended our consultancy activities with Oracle TALEO Cloud based HR (Human Resources) system (recently called HCM: Human Capital Management System). Similarly we extended our DWH (Datawarehouse) consultancy with BI system implementation and support, as well.
In several cases TALEO external webpage has to be integrated with the main homepage of the companies, therefore we have to perform webdesign, webpage-development, and even mobile application development, as well.
SUMMARY: ProMigCon Ltd. is dynamically developing its consultancy services from the beginning, now we cover traditional and cloud-based systems, Datawarehouses and BI systems, and also Web and mobile developments ( in addition to that Project management and expert services).
2. The way from the server-room to the Cloud…
At present the successful companies prefer buying IT services, and increasing part of them won’t like to possess (internal) infrastructure and IT operational staff. For them the „traditional” product implementation is not appropriate anymore, they prefer „hosting services”, or moreover Cloud-based services. We shall mention here, that the Cloud-service has more options (private, public and hybrid cloud), therefore the „cloud” can be located in the server-room, as well. Therefore the „cloud” does not always mean that the data are stored „outside” of the company.
SUMMARY: ProMigCon Ltd. has implementation and support experience with „traditional” infrastructure/platform based systems, and hosted, or Cloud-based systems, as well.
3. Change in the implementation methodologies
While the „traditional” ERP implementations contain long requirement analysis and design phases (up to several months), in today’s world there is less possibility for doing it in this manner. Agile or fast-forward implementations are required, and it is true for ERP and BI systems, as well. The most successful method is, when the prototype system is pre-set according to „best practice” processes, which cover the main requirements of the Customer, and we reach the appropriate result by iterations, however the prototype-system also can be used with limited functionality.
The explanation of this is the following: due to the fast-moving business environment, the companies can’t afford designing a system for half or one year, meanwhile the requirements become obsolate.
The IT consulting companies has to give an appropriate answer for the above problem, which is using agile implementation methods.
SUMMARY: Our project managers, and consultants are capable to design and perform the projects using both „traditional” and agile project methodologies, according to the various business needs.
4. SUPPORT – Permanent support, or help „in the dry tree”?
For our permanent clients we offer frame-agreements, based on Service-Level Agreements. But we also can accept, if a Customer „takes the risk”, and only ask for our support, if there is an incident, and its system is out of order, or operates with limited functionality. In such cases we react flexibly, and solve the problem in the shortest time, also in a cost-effective way. We also make an effort – even with involvement of a partner company -, if the root of the problem is outside of our supported system.
Summary:
Our company is handling the support agreements in a flexible way, therefore the support activities are also flexible, however in any case our main goal is to solve the problems in a short time, cost-effectively, and in a reassuring way.
5. IT Expert Witness Services – Prevention or Fire-fighting?
As we mentioned earlier, modern companies are focusing their core business activities, and IT services – even it is presented in a significant part of the business operation – are not among them.
Due to this fact, if such a company decides to select a new IT system, and supplier, they don’t have the necessary resources (no IT manager, even no system manager is employed at the company).
Therefore the IT system/supplier selection is performed based on purchasing considerations (price, payment conditions), and in many cases the Business/IT Requirements are missing from the contract.
When a system is almost delivered, the customer is facing its unsufficient functionality. At this point both parties are unflexible to solve the problem, which – in many cases – results a legal proceeding, and the new system will be not usable for years, or can’t be changed to another one.
